Beginner to Intermediate
$25 for non-members / $12 for members (or free with the Intro Belay Base+ Course)This course builds on the techniques and principles taught in Technical Climbing 1. Now that you have the fundamentals down, we look to build upon these concepts. We revisit a few basic principles of footwork, weight transfers, and efficient body positions, in order to prepare you to think about climbing in a new way. Topics covered include; how to climb efficiently, mental preparedness and focus, training endurance and power, and effective strategies for red-pointing. This course is designed for the intermediate level climber looking to climb beyond plateaus.

Participants should have been climbing for more than 6 months on a frequent basis. It is also recommended you wait 1-2 months between completing Tech 1 and registering for Tech 2.
